hunker down for pucker-time (a work poem for the masses)

hunker down for pucker-time

the sun glares

then screams

& morning dew
like mercury

beads & jiggles

to the tune
of a badly tuned

engine pouring

into the city

like waste

down a pipe.

buoyant with
coffee-fed false hope

your lips start
to pucker

for the boss's

pimply ass.
